TURN PASSION INTO ACTION!
The
heart of our organization is "karma",
or "selfless
service".
At Kula for Karma,
we seek to empower members of our community to utilize
their own interests and passions and explore areas
in which they could give of their time and talent
to benefit the lives of those in need. We focus
on supporting each other on the journey of selfless
service, creating opportunites and celebrating where
our hearts lead us.
Kula means "community"
Another
purpose of our organization is to bring together
yoga studios, community leaders, and other business
owners to share practices that best address the
needs. of those in our community who may be facing
some difficult times in their lives. The diversity
of these perspectives truly reflect the diversity
of the populations we serve, and have enhanced
the therapeutic and corporate practices. Our
philosophy is that collaboration is a key component
to success. Collaboration
reduces duplication of services, inefficient use
of resources, and increases the impact we can have
in our community. It is our goal to create
a community
and thread together the hearts and minds of those
who have been successful in their own field of
expertise to share their knowledge with others
